Thermistors (NTC & PTC) and Pressure Transducers

This course is crucial for understanding how inverter systems work, how they monitor saturation temperature and line temperature in order to make decisions for the operation of the compressor, fans, and metering device.

NTC thermistors and pressure transducers are used as inputs for the main circuit board on variable speed and inverter driven systems. It's important to understand that PTC thermistors differ from NTC thermistors. PTC thermistors are used on some single stage systems to allow more current to be delivered to the start winding on some versions of refrigerant compressors.
